Jacksonville State University is dedicating Ramona Wood Hall as the new home for the Division of Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigations

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy refreshments and explore the newly renovated facility, which features state-of-the-art learning environments including the H. Dean Buttram, Jr. Lecture Room, a replica courtroom, and a replica crime scene house. The event will also showcase upcoming additions such as digital forensics and cadaver labs that are designed to enhance the department’s academic offerings.

JSU faculty and staff are available to provide tours and provide insight into the department’s vision and state-of-the-art resources that benefit students pursuing careers in criminal justice and forensic science.

To celebrate this milestone, a tailgate will be held following the dedication until 6:00 p.m., leading up to the Jacksonville State football game against New Mexico State, which begins at 6:30 p.m
