Kentucky man faces kidnapping charges after police chase

HARRODSBURG, Ky. (WKYT) – Police in Harrodsburg responded to a possible kidnapping early Sunday morning, sparking a high-speed chase across county lines.

Around 3 a.m., officers received a call from a woman who claimed the driver of the car wouldn’t let her out.

Officers located the vehicle, but the suspect refused to stop, prompting police on a chase toward Boyle County.

The chase ended when the suspect ran out of gas.

Police were able to identify the driver as Christian Cato.

Cato was arrested and faces charges including kidnapping, fleeing police and drug possession.

The woman remained unhurt.
