Police are looking for the Winooski armed robber’s ID

WINOOSKI, Vt. (WCAX) – Winooski Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery last month.

It happened on Friday, September 27th on East Allen Ave. According to police, around 9:15 p.m. a man came up behind the victim and grabbed his purse. After a short struggle, he is said to have threatened the victim with a weapon and then made off with the handbag.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’6″ to 5’7″ tall and wears glasses.
