Show off your Halloween houses, Ocean County: Take the Patch Scare Tour ’24

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ – The ghosts and ghouls are crawling out of hiding and settling in yards across Ocean County, which means Halloween is getting closer and closer.

Patch compiles its annual list of Halloween haunts that will have people staring and maybe even screaming. We’re also interested in kid-friendly, whimsical, Halloween-decorated yards.

If your garden is worth a visit this Halloween, email us. We will continue to expand the 2024 Haunted Farms tour in the lead up to Halloween, which falls on Wednesday this year.

We prefer that the homeowner submit their own yard. Please provide the following information:

• The exact address, including the city.
• The dates and hours your ad will be available for viewing.
• The name of your favorite spot in the garden, if you have one.
• Tell us about special effects, live actors, tours or other features that make your garden special. If you’re fundraising for a nonprofit, let us know.
• Does your display have a Facebook page or website? Be sure to include the links.
• A phone number (not for publication) in case Patch needs to contact you.

Send us a photo (or several) you took of your favorite place. Horizontal photos work best. Please do not send videos, but if you have posted videos of your home publicly on Facebook, send us the link you would like to include.
