Billie Eilish says she will never talk about her sexuality again

Although Billie Eilish has spoken openly about her sexuality in the past, don’t expect to hear much from her about it again.

The Oscar-winning singer and songwriter said she wished no one knew about her sexuality and hinted in an interview published Tuesday that she would no longer talk about it fashion.

“I wish no one knew about my sexuality or my dating life. Always, always, always,” she said, pointing fashion said it was “visible frustration.” She added: “And I hope they never do it again. And I’ll never talk about my sexuality again. And I’m never talking about who I’m dating again.”

To that end, Eilish shared that she has drawn a line between her private and public life, including deleting all social media from her phone. She says the move helped her stop relying on others for her life’s satisfaction.

“If I was happy in my life, it was because people loved me on the internet. And when I was upset in my life, it was usually because people didn’t,” she said. “I learned not to base my life on that.”

Eilish first spoke out last November in an interview with diversityin which she said she was “physically attracted to women” but also “intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence.”

She later revealed that even her coming out was a bit of a mistake. “I don’t have that [mean to come out in the story]“, she said diversity a month later. “But I kind of thought, ‘Wasn’t that obvious?’ I didn’t know that people didn’t know. I just don’t really believe in it [coming out]. I’m just like, ‘Why can’t we just exist?’ I’ve been doing this for a long time and I just haven’t talked about it.”
