Teenager dies in accident in Salem

A 23-year-old teenager died in an accident on Sunday evening. S. Soundar (23), a resident of AR Line in Kumarasamipatti, was working at a mobile shop at the New Bus Stand. On Sunday evening, he crossed the flyover at the New Bus Stand on the wrong side on his bike. At that time, the bike was hit by a private bus, in the accident he suffered serious injuries and was admitted to Salem Government Hospital. He died there from his injuries at midnight. The Pallapatti police have registered a case and are continuing to investigate.
