The incident occurred when Colbie Young’s ex-girlfriend visited his apartment to seek clarifications about their relationship, which eventually led to a heated argument as Colbie Young was on the phone with another woman the entire time.

According to ESPN, after the heated argument, Colbie Young allegedly dragged her ex-girlfriend out of his room and used derogatory language towards her. Colbie Young’s ex-girlfriend reported that Colbie Young grabbed her from behind while squeezing her torso and stomach, which eventually resulted in a visible bruise.

Colbie Young’s ex-girlfriend was taken to hospital for treatment following the violent incident, while Colbie Young denied any wrongdoing. A similar incident occurred previously involving former Bulldogs receiver Rodarius Rara Thomas, who was later dismissed from the team due to multiple domestic violence charges. ESPN noted that the Georgia athletic department has not made any official comment on this serious matter.
