No criminal charges were filed after a hit-and-run accident on Monday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just after 12 p.m., a victim reported that an unknown sedan struck the side of his vehicle on Old Highway 99 South near Tipton Road, south of Roseburg . An officer located the vehicle in question, whose driver’s side mirror was slightly discolored.

The 20-year-old driver stated that he did not know that his vehicle had caused damage to the sedan. The victim did not want to press charges. Since the damage was minor and no charges were required, the driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
