Tubi moves into the talk show room with Deion Sanders

Deion Sanders is getting his own talk show.

The NFL legend will host We have time today for Tubi, the first original talk show for Fox’s ad-supported streamer.

The coach of the Colorado Buffaloes football team will co-host the series with alumni Entertainment Tonight Host Rocsi Diaz.

It is produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment and consists of 20 weekly, one-hour episodes every Tuesday. It covers news, culture, entertainment and sports with interviews and celebrity guests.

The series is produced by Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, Madison Merritt and Elaine Metaxas of Sanders and Jesse Collins Entertainment. SMAC Entertainment closed the deal on behalf of Sanders with Sam Harowitz, SVP of Tubi’s Content Acquisitions and Partnerships team.

“I come into the studio to have real conversations with people from all walks of life,” Sanders said. “This show is about tapping into the culture. We’ll laugh, debate, inspire and most importantly, we’ll have time to talk life into our viewers while keeping things 100. I couldn’t do this with anyone else except Rocsi Diaz, who I’m sure I’ll keep on my toes and of course my friends at Tubi, who I’ve been a big fan of for a long time.”

“At Tubi, we are committed to delivering engaging content that resonates with viewers by reflecting the diversity of our audience,” added Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer at Tubi. “We have time today revitalizes the traditional talk show format with a laid-back energy that showcases Deion’s dynamic personality along with his excellent chemistry with Rocsi. This mix of real talk and the pulse of pop culture is a true brand for Tubi and we expect it will certainly get people talking.”
