Man dead after being stabbed at gas station in north Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is dead after being stabbed at a gas station in north Phoenix overnight.

Phoenix police responded to the stabbing at a QuikTrip gas station at the intersection of Cave Creek and Union Hills streets around 11 p.m. Monday.

Officers found a man who had been stabbed and took him to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The man’s identity has not been released.

Homicide investigators responded to the scene.

No information about the suspect was provided and it is unclear what led to the stabbing.

Union Hills Road was closed but has since reopened.
