16-year-old in hospital after stabbing in Chesterfield

Chesterfield police are investigating a knife attack that sent a 16-year-old to hospital.

According to officials, police were called to Martingale Road at US 1 in Chester just before 4:45 p.m. Monday.

Officers said they found the 16-year-old male with multiple stab wounds and took him to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police also say they have a suspect in custody and there is no active threat to the community.
