Holy Sheetz – Man in Sheetz Shirt Yelling at Customer: Strongsville Police Blotter

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio

Fault, Royalton Road: On Sept. 27, a Sheetz employee called police about a man wearing a Sheetz shirt yelling at customers in the Royalton Road parking lot.

The caller emphasized that the man was not an employee.

An arriving officer learned that the suspect had left the scene. The police are investigating.

Harassment, Cottonwood Trail: On September 28, a Cottonwood Trail resident came to the police station to file a harassment report.

The man said his ex, who was using a new phone number, was harassing him.

The police are investigating.

Shoplifting, Pearl Road: On Sept. 28, a Walmart loss prevention officer called police after observing two women stealing items from the Pearl Road store.

The caller said the couple stole toys and clothing by under-scanning at the self-checkout.

A arriving officer located an Akron woman who was arrested for theft.

Sign theft, Fair Road: On Sept. 27, a Fair Road resident called police after discovering someone had stolen his political sign from his front yard.

The woman said she had grainy footage of the suspect accepting the sign.

There are no suspects. The police are investigating.

Drunk driving, Pearl Road: On September 27, police observed a 2012 Chrysler parked in a tree lawn on Pearl Road.

While speaking with the Brunswick driver, the officer smelled alcohol.

After failing a sobriety test, the man was arrested for drunk driving.

He was also cited for parking in a tree field.
