Four people are injured in a car accident on Highway 101 in Goleta

GOLETA, Calif. – The Santa Barbara County Fire Department is currently on the scene of a car accident that injured four people on the ramp to Highway 101 near Winchester Canyon in Goleta.

A car with two adults and two minors transported all patients to Cottage Hospital shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, while a second car with a solo male driver refused treatment, according to the SBCFD.

Highway 101 has been temporarily closed and will reopen shortly. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation, the SBCFD said.
