Law enforcement is searching for a man who fired a gun in the rural Kelso neighborhood

Troy Brightbill, chief detective with the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office, said the man fired a gun outdoors near the rural residential area of ​​the 100 block of Holcomb Road around 11:40 a.m., resulting in no injuries.

He was not authorized to possess a firearm, Brightbill said, but did not name the suspect. He said evidence was collected from the crime scene.
