I wear the Apple Watch SE every day and it represents great value at just AU$319 – a record low price

Buying the Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) made sense to me when I bought it a few years ago – at full price, mind you – because I was already bricked into Apple’s ecosystem. Although I would have liked something with ECG monitoring, I couldn’t justify the higher price of the Apple Watch 8 compared to the SE 2. I don’t regret this decision at all.

The Apple Watch SE 2 has served me well ever since – it tells me when my heart is beating faster, which is exactly what I’m looking for at the end of the day. The AU$398 price I paid for it when I bought it was more than justified, but it has since become much cheaper.

It was AU$350 in the 2023 Black Friday sales, then dropped to AU$343 in July and now – if you don’t mind the 40mm Starlight case – the GPS edition is down to an all-time low price of just Down AU$319. You might even be able to save a little more if you’re looking to trade in an old device – Amazon has teamed up with Northladder to get you online quotes and arrange home collection, and you’ll get an Amazon gift card in return.

However, if this is the deal you want, you should hurry up as I don’t think it will last long. I’ve seen previous Apple Watch SE deals disappear within hours and they all cost more. You can always use the trade-in value for something else – it’s still a savings.

For this price it really is excellent value for money.
