Are you the next K-pop star? YG Entertainment is holding an audition in Manila in November

Only those born between 2006 and 2013 can audition

MANILA, Philippines – Are you a fan of K-pop acts Akdong Musician, WINNER, TREASURE and BABYMONSTER? You now have the chance to be under the same leadership as them!

YG Entertainment, the South Korean music agency behind K-pop stars BIGBANG, 2NE1 and BLACKPINK, is looking for Filipino talent to expand its talent roster.

On Monday, October 7, the label announced that it will host a YG Global audition on November 24 at ZERØ Studio in Quezon City.

The castings are open to aspiring idols born between 2006 and 2013.

Applicants should only select one of the following categories: Singing, Rap, Dance and Appearance. Interested parties can register at YG Audition website until November 10th.

Photos and videos should also be included when registering in advance. According to YG Audition’s website, submitted applications cannot be processed. If you want to make corrections, you should cancel your application and apply again. However, it is no longer possible to cancel the application once it has been viewed by the examination director.

Only selected applications from the pre-registration will receive a confirmation email for the second audition on November 20th.

The label also noted that pre-registration may end before the set deadline and no spontaneous performances will be possible for the second audition.
