Woman dead, man rushed to surgery after shooting in Park Hill neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A woman is dead and a man is in unknown condition following a shooting in the Park Hill neighborhood Monday night.

Louisville police said officers were called to the 2300 block of Dumesnil Street around 8:10 p.m. There they found a man and a woman who had been shot in a house. They were both taken to UofL Hospital, where the woman died shortly after arriving. The man was operated on immediately.
