Man arrested in connection with fatal shooting at Antioch apartment complex

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of another man on April 12, Metro Nashville police said.

Police arrested 22-year-old Brian Connard Jr. in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Vidal T. York at The Cascades apartment complex at 3300 Murfreesboro Pike.

An investigation into the murder led to the identification of Connard as a suspect, police said.

Connard was taken into custody after police found a car he was in parked on Hermitage Avenue.
