1 was arrested after a teenager was stabbed multiple times in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) – A 16-year-old is recovering after being stabbed in Chesterfield on Monday evening.

Shortly before 4:45 p.m., Chesterfield police responded to a reported knife attack in the 2700 block of Martingale Road on October 7th.

Officers found the 16-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. They rendered aid to the victim, who was then transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have a suspect in custody and say there is no threat to the community.

The investigation is ongoing.
