Shots were fired in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) – According to Providence Police, a shooting occurred Monday evening in Providence.

Officials said the shooting occurred on Metcalf Street.

A gunshot victim was taken to the hospital but claims the shooting occurred at a different location.

No further details were available.
