The Princeton and Bureau County Fairgrounds hope you enjoy.

Monster Mash Balloon Bash, a new event, takes place on Saturday. The party includes a Halloween parade at 5 p.m. on Main Street. The parade begins at Soldiers and Sailors Park and heads north on Main Street to Canal Street. It will then arrive at the exhibition grounds.

The Hocus Pocus Hags will be casting spells at the fairgrounds following the parade at approximately 6:15 p.m

Several hot air balloons will be stationed at the exhibition center. The rides start at 4:30 p.m. and the balloons light up from 6 to 8 p.m. Visit Princeton Chamber-IL.com to purchase tickets.

The Nightmare Haunted Attraction, which has been at the Bureau County Fairgrounds for 20 years and is open every Friday and Saturday in October, will offer a “Lights On” event for children from 6:30 to 7 p.m :00 to 10:00 a.m. the ghosts that haunt the barns

Other festivities include Trunk or Treat, a petting zoo, food trucks and Mummies Café with food, a bonfire, cake walk and an outdoor cinema.
