Fed Commentary, PepsiCo Earnings, GM: What to Watch

Federal Reserve officials, including Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic and Vice Chairman Phillip Jefferson, are expected to release their latest commentary on Tuesday, October 8.

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Optimism Index will be released tomorrow and estimates small business optimism will rise to a reading of 92 for the month of September.

PepsiCo (PEP) will report third-quarter results on Tuesday morning, while automaker General Motors (GM) hosts its first investor day in two years.
