One person died and another was injured after a crash in New London

One person is dead and another is injured in a crash in Merrimack County.

According to state police, a 27-year-old driver was traveling on Little Sunapee Road in New London on Sunday when the car left the road, hit a trailer and caught fire.

The driver was seriously injured and his passenger was killed in the impact.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
