Hollyoaks confirms fallout from Ethan’s tragic death as Sienna reels | Soap

Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) faces some serious questions from police in Hollyoaks as the fallout from the death of Ethan Williams (Matthew James Bailey) comes to light.

Ethan fell to his death on Monday (October 7), just hours after tying the knot with the love of his life, Sienna, in a move that left fans completely reeling.

The circumstances that led to his death remain obscure, although speculation has already begun. The prevailing theory is that someone pushed him.

Despite an argument with her husband over a secret abortion Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) had performed at Christmas, Sienna was deeply heartbroken to find her soulmate dead on the roof of their wedding car.

But since she was the last person to see him alive – or at least the last person we know of – she will be arrested for questioning by police on Tuesday (October 8).

First-look images reveal the scenes in question as a distraught Sienna is questioned by detectives determined to find out what – or WHO – is responsible for the tragic death of his beloved Ethan.

Will Sienna get in trouble with the law? Will she become the main suspect? Or can she prove her innocence?

Although she and Ethan didn’t exactly part on good terms, it seems unlikely that she would be capable of murdering the love of her life, especially since her reaction to his body on the roof of the car seemed to be one of genuine grief.

This raises the question of who else it could be.

Meanwhile, Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) mourns the loss of her uncle, but soon discovers video footage that suggests there was trouble in Sienna and Ethan’s paradise during the “missing” year.

Elsewhere, Vicky has to explain something.

Ethan was axed from Hollyoaks during the episode in question, with actor Matthew James Bailey confirming to Metro that he was one of the victims of the cast cuts.

“I’m absolutely devastated to have to leave the show,” he told me. “I made it clear that this was my home and I never thought it would end like this.

“I feel like there’s a lot more potential and growth in Ethan.”

“I said it openly when I thought it was time for him to step down, but to be honest I don’t think it was the right time. “I don’t think we were finished. So no, it wasn’t my decision. I would never turn my back on the show.’

Hollyoaks streams Monday to Wednesday from 7am on Channel 4’s streaming platform or watch episodes on TV on E4 at 7pm.
