A woman is now charged with second-degree murder after her alleged victim died as a result of a stabbing in Surrey, British Columbia, last month.

Surrey RCMP said they were called to a report of a pedestrian struck by a car near 108 Avenue and King George Boulevard in the early morning of Sept. 8.

When officers arrived, they discovered the distressed woman had been stabbed. She died in hospital on September 13th.
