Police investigate knife attack in Glen Burnie; Suspect at large

GLEN BURNIE, Md. – Police are investigating a knife attack that occurred Saturday evening outside the Little India Cafe on East Ordnance Road. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 10:15 p.m. on October 5 after receiving reports of an altercation involving a weapon.

According to authorities, a 63-year-old man approached another person near the restaurant, resulting in a physical altercation. During the altercation, the suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a pocket knife before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black jeans.

North District officials are actively investigating the incident and ask anyone with information to contact the department at 410-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.

  • Police are investigating an early morning robbery at the Linthicum 7-Eleven

    LINTHICUM, Md. – Authorities are searching for two suspects involved in an early morning robbery at a 7-Eleven on Aviation Boulevard. According to Anne Arundel County Police, the incident occurred on October 5, 2024 at approximately 3:30 a.m.

    The two suspects, described as black men, entered the store and attacked the clerk, sending him to the ground. The suspects then stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene in a dark sedan.

    Officers conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the suspects. The Regional Crimes Unit is leading the investigation and asks anyone with information to contact investigators at 410-222-4730 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
