Tiger speech and drama bring “Terror Under the Big Top” at the Haunted Rex

Clay Center Community High School’s Tiger Speech and Drama class prepares for their annual Haunted Rex House fundraiser. This year’s theme is “Terror Under the Big Top” and will give brave visitors a little circus terror as they tour the Rex. The haunted house will be open from October 31stst until November 2ndndwith haunted events every evening from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Megan Blackburn, speech and drama teacher, said this has become one of their largest annual fundraisers since they started years ago.

Blackburn said attendees will start at the back of the auditorium and wind their way through the Rex, including the spooky, unfinished basement, before exiting through the front. Students Greyson Brandt, Inaya Liddle and Sophia Carrier gave a sneak peek into their preparations for the haunted house.

This annual fundraiser supports the Tiger Speech and Drama department in their performances for the community. Tickets are available at the box office. Stay up to date on upcoming events and activities like this on their Facebook page.
