Woman has been charged after a man stabbed a northwest Houston home multiple times in the middle of the night

HOUSTON — A woman is facing charges after she was accused of stabbing a man multiple times at a home in northwest Houston.

Maribel Soto, 30, was charged with aggravated assault on a family member in connection with the Oct. 5 incident.

The stabbing was reported around 5:25 a.m. in the 9400 block of Kerrwood Drive.

According to police, officers found the 35-year-old man with multiple stab wounds and was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

A search warrant was executed at the apartment and investigators identified the suspect as Soto. She was arrested and charged for her involvement in the incident.

Soto was booked into the Harris County Jail.
