Rising alternative pop singer and internet personality Baby Storme announced on Sunday (October 6) that her baby died after seven months of pregnancy. In a series of heartbreaking posts shared online, the 24-year-old wrote:

“I am devastated to announce that our baby has died after over seven months of pregnancy. I had to go through a long and painful labor and delivery to give birth to our dead child. To say I’m heartbroken is an understatement. I might as well be dead because that’s what it feels like.”

The “DREAMS” artist then expressed that she and her husband are “both heartbroken” and are taking time off the internet to heal. She added:

“PS, it was supposed to be a girl and we wanted to name her Amethyst. Please keep us in your prayers. Rest in peace”
