One person has died in a fatal pedestrian accident on I-44

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) has released new details regarding a crash on I-44 that killed a pedestrian on Sunday, October 6th.

According to OHP, Kreshadra Willhoite was struck by a driver on Mile Marker 65 east of Fletcher around 3 p.m.

Her death was pronounced at the scene and taken to the Oklahoma City Medical Examiner’s Office.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

OHP is still investigating the cause of the collision.
