Serious injuries have been reported in a crash in the Carolina Forest area

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Serious injuries were reported following a crash in the Carolina Forest area on Monday.

The Horry County Fire Department reported that just after 10:30 a.m. crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on River Oaks Driver near Connemara Drive

The agency added that it had “initiated liberation measures” on site.

One person was also taken to a hospital. No further information was given about her condition.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating. Officers from the Horry County Police Department were also on scene.
