Malvi Malhotra reacts as producer who stabbed her is sentenced to three years in prison: ‘It was mental torture’

Last week, Malvi posted a note on Instagram that read, “The nine nights symbolize the triumph of justice and truth.” And justice serves those who always take the right path and remain positive in life… Thank you Mataji You have given me justice, fruits of my patience and ensured that I won my case. (sic)”

Malvi claims that what started as a professional meeting with Yogesh led to him proposing marriage to her. He also continued to send her messages and stalk her, she claims. Last week, a sessions court in Mumbai sentenced Yogesh to three years in prison. She told the publication: “There is finally a feeling of relief. I have been fighting for the last four years. There was so much pressure and a lot of disruption. But finally the truth came to light. I have been through a lot of psychological trauma. More than the physical scars, it was the mental anguish that weighed on me.”

Malvi also told them that it took her “months” to overcome the fear she felt at the time as Yogesh wanted to “hurt her face”. She also claims that she “never did therapy” because her father helped her with it. “I am very spiritually inclined. This is the only form of therapy that has helped and motivated me. Only through this and my strong willpower could I get out of this situation. My father also gave me a lot of advice. “It helped me improve my mental health,” she added.

However, her debut was not without controversy as Raj was convicted of cheating on his ex-partner Lavanya in July this year.

Lavanya alleged that Raj cheated on her with Malvi and the actor and her brother threatened her safety. Malvi filed a complaint against Lavanya and broke down while speaking to the press. She said: “I am not interested in her personal life; Leave me out of this. I have just done my first Telugu film and she is spoiling my reputation.”
