Center Point man dies in crash during police chase in Kimberly

A 27-year-old Center Point man is dead after a crash Sunday afternoon in Kimberly.

The Jefferson County Coroner says Cameron De’juan Nix died in a car accident on Highway 31 near Nail Road on October 6, 2024 around 3 p.m.

Nix was being pursued by Kimberly Police at the time of the accident.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating the crash.
