Samsung’s Galaxy Watch FE 2024 has now dropped back to $180 or $130 with a trade-in

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch FE 2024 has now dropped back to 0 or 0 with a trade-in

Update: In addition to the ongoing all-time lows of the new Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, Samsung’s significantly cheaper entry-level Galaxy Watch FE has also fallen back to its lowest point $179.99 sent presented in the original post below. Please note that Samsung is now only offering $50 instant trade-in credit for its FE series model.

Samsung introduced its latest budget smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch FE, just a few months ago as a cheaper entry point to its latest wearable lineup. Priced at $200, it’s exactly that: it’s $100 less than the cheapest Galaxy Watch 7 (although it’s currently on sale) and, at first glance, has a nearly identical design. We’d previously announced a very brief price cut via Woot – the only direct cash offer we’d seen up to that point – but both Samsung and Amazon have now marked the wearable down to $179.99 shipped in all three color variants. This is in fact the first offer on Amazon and a subsequent all-time low there, but when you combine the $20 cash offer with the $100 Immediate trade-in at Samsung, you see overall $79.99 shipped for a Galaxy 2024 that is wearable today.

Aside from the short-lived Woot deal, this is the lowest price we’ve found for the new wearable, even before trade-ins. But with the trade value you will see the best price yet. And as we’ve detailed before, you’ll get full trade-in value with almost everything.

While the FE isn’t the Galaxy Ultra or even the 7-series model, it’s a solid device that’s packed with most of the features I think anyone looking in the sub-$200 price range needs.

It ships with Wear OS 4 out of the box, features an improved sapphire crystal to protect the Super AMOLED display, and a physical design that closely resembles the latest models. It offers ECG monitoring and regular heart rate measurements to detect irregularities, as well as performance insights on “step count, active minutes, calories burned, and more” in addition to “data on body fat, muscle mass, and water levels.”

In my opinion, it’s basically the same as a Galaxy Watch 7 for people who just need the basic features, and at a far cheaper price.

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE Features:

Get performance insights on step counts, active minutes, calories burned and more; Your watch automatically tracks everyday movements like walking and running – plus it helps you manually track over 90 other exercises. Get to know your body better with the BIA sensor²¹; Use your watch to get data on body fat, muscle mass, water levels and more, and use these insights to work on goals like muscle growth and improved hydration.
