Rainy weather is likely a factor in the rollover accident, authorities said

Amid the rain and slippery roads, a single vehicle rollover prompted emergency responders to stress the need to exercise caution in inclement weather.

The Palm Beach County Fire Department (PBCFR) said it responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident at Jog and Hypoluxo Road on Sunday around 6:30 p.m.

According to the report, firefighters worked for approximately 10 minutes to safely extricate the driver from the vehicle, who was then transported to a local hospital.

PBCFR noted that while it remains unclear whether the rainy weather directly caused the accident, the wet conditions likely contributed to the crash.

Authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution this week. If possible, residents are urged to stay home and avoid the streets until conditions improve.
