Air raid sirens in Israel after rockets were fired from Gaza on the anniversary of the Hamas attack

Last year, Israel bombed more than 40,000 Hamas targets, uncovered 4,700 tunnel shafts and destroyed 1,000 rocket launchers in the Gaza Strip. Marking the one-year anniversary of the Israel-Hamas war, the Israeli military announced today that 726 soldiers have been killed since October 7, 2023. Of these, 380 died in the attacks on October 7th and 346 in the fighting in the Gaza Strip from October 27th, 2023.

Since that date, 4,576 soldiers have been injured. 56 soldiers died as a result of operational accidents that the military did not specify.
