Drake calls out fake friends: ‘They could stab you’

Drake takes aim at some of his friends, calling them fake because they might “turn on” and “try to stab you in the back.”

In a passionate speech, the Grammy winner told a crowd at broadcaster Tyrone Edwards’ nostalgia party in Toronto.

“My real friends are definitely in the building,” he began. “But I’m telling you, you’re going to come to a point in life where people you thought were your friends or people you thought were close to you may change.”

“Maybe they’re trying to make fun of you. They could stab you in the back. They could do a lot of things to you,” the 37-year-old continued.

“You come to this realization everywhere in life. You’ve probably been there before and will be there again. That’s life. Sometimes it’s you and you’re all alone.”

Drake also performed 50 Cent’s track Lots of men to send a message to his haters amid his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar Page six.

“A lot of men wish me dead / Blood in my eyes, dog, and I can’t see / I’m trying to be what I’m meant to be,” the lyrics go.
