Following his arrest on Friday October 4, British Transport Police (BTP) said the 16-year-old boy from Clacton-on-Sea, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with one count of attempted murder and in another case was charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates Court tomorrow (October 8).

Shortly after 7am on Thursday, September 26, officers and paramedics were called to Barnes train station following reports of a stabbing.
