20-year-old driver dies in crash Saturday evening and MPD is searching for second driver

MILWAUKEE – A driver died after crashing mid-curve on the 6800 block of W. Capitol Dr. Saturday evening. collided with another vehicle.

The 20-year-old was traveling west on Capitol and the second vehicle was traveling east.

As the second vehicle turned onto N. 68th St., the 20-year-old collided with them. Paramedics attempted to perform life-saving measures on the victim, but the victim later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

After the accident, the second driver fled the scene. The second driver’s car was located by MPD, but the driver was not found with the vehicle.

MPD is looking for the driver of the second vehicle.
