FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Sean “Diddy” Combs mother Janice Smalls Combs released a statement to Local 10 News on Sunday about her son’s struggles.

In the statement, she says her 54-year-old son may have lied about the domestic violence caught on video, but that doesn’t mean he’s guilty of the sexual assault he’s accused of.

“My son is not the monster they made him out to be,” she said in a statement, according to Fort Lauderdale-based attorney Natlie G. Figgers.

A Houston-based attorney announced Tuesday that he is representing 120 victims of Diddy’s alleged sexual misconduct.

The music executive is also awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
