Shootout at Dorchester MA Pilgrim and Richfield St. – NBC Boston

On Sunday evening, one person was shot and seriously injured in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.

According to Boston Police, officers responded to a sniper activation at Pilgrim Pl. and Richfield St. at approximately 7:54 p.m. and located a victim who was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

There was no update on her condition.

No arrests have been made and police say this is currently an active crime scene.

According to police, the homicide squad will lead the investigation.
