Atlanta bandits made off with ,000 worth of jewelry, police say

Atlanta police have released images of a duo who allegedly robbed a jewelry kiosk at Greenbriar Mall of $14,000 worth of merchandise in early October.

Newly released surveillance video showed two men at the Gold and Diamond Castle Kiosk around 6:30 p.m. on October 1st. A man in a gray hoodie appeared to be waiting for the worker to approach him. As soon as she got closer, the man tried to grab an object from her hands.

The employee held on for a few seconds, but the man in the gray hoodie eventually got away with the item as a second man in the black hoodie ran away with him.

Police said the $14,000 item was broken during the fight.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the case should submit a tip to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online or by text message to CSGA and the tip to CRIMES (738477). . Officials say you don’t have to provide your name or other identifying information to be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
