Trump calls for “a really tough, nasty” day of police operations

On January 6, 2021, Donald Trump called on private white supremacist militias to attempt to intimidate Congress and show America how serious he is about getting his way.

Mr. Trump just raised the stakes significantly on something that could take place on November 6th or January 6th, 2025, or any other day of his choosing. This time he is calling on duly sworn police officers to ignore their oaths and defy the civilian government’s control of law enforcement.

Candidate Trump is calling for a day of police vigilantism not much different from what Hitler called on his police forces to do on “Kristallnacht,” the night of broken glass in Germany. This was the very event that cemented his terrorist control over Germany and brought him to long-term power in Europe.

Trump is calling for “a really hard, bad” and “violent” day of police operations so frightening for criminals that crime will be eradicated “immediately.” The former president forgot to mention that it also wipes out the voice of reason and science, the law of “peaceful assembly,” constitutional due process, and the Christian teaching of “love thy neighbor.” In summary, this will eliminate justice from our 400 year old criminal justice system.

After this day occurs, and it will, one of two things will happen. If this holy day does not give him the reins of power, Trump will say, “Just kidding,” as he did after January 6, 2021. On the other hand, if he succeeds in bringing him to power that day, he will usher in the other infamous “day” of dictatorship that he promised the nation if elected.

Just kidding. . . it will be four years.
