Accident closes US Highway 31 in Kimberly/Warrior area

JEFFERSON COUNTY – A single-vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 3:08 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, has resulted in a road closure, according to Corporal Reginal M. King of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The northbound and southbound lanes of US 31 near the 293 mile marker in the Warrior/Kimberly area of ​​Jefferson County are currently closed indefinitely, King said.

ALEA troopers are currently on scene investigating and will continue to monitor the situation and provide appropriate updates.
