Shooting in Burnet County, Texas: Shots fired at epicenter church, no injuries

In response to an unidentified 911 call, Burnet County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the church at Epicenter, located at 2401 N US 281 Burnet, Burnet County, TX 78611, at approximately 10:33 a.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2024. They were contacted for a Social welfare check called.

A male suspect called 911, provided the above location, asked for police and then hung up, according to the BCSO release.

When police arrived, it was clear that bullets had been fired and that the shooter was a volunteer member of the church’s security team. There are currently no injuries.
