One was rescued from a two-vehicle crash on Cowpath Road Sunday afternoon

One person was rescued from their vehicle after a two-vehicle crash that caused temporary traffic delays Sunday afternoon on the 1300 block of Cowpath Road in Hatfield Township.

According to emergency radio reports from Montgomery Count, one person was trapped in a silver Honda sedan that sustained moderate damage to the front quarter panel. The second vehicle involved was a pickup truck.

Police reportedly extricated the injured driver from the Honda before firefighters arrived. The injured driver was placed in a neck brace, placed on a stretcher and transported via VMSC to a local hospital, according to on-scene reports.

Cowpath Road was closed at Orvilla Road with the opposite lanes open.
