Tragic dumper collision kills driver and helper in Etawah | Kanpur News

Kanpur: A driver and his companion were killed after two Tipper collided head-on Farrukhabad highway In Etawah District on Saturday evening.
At around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, a dumper from Bewar collided with another dumper traveling in the opposite direction near the Animal Fair Market. The collision was so violent that one of the dump trucks fell into a ditch. The station concerned and the police reached the accident spot and sent the injured driver Krishnakant (32) and his helper Lavkush, a resident of Gijaura Simar in Bhind district, to Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, where doctors declared them brought dead.
The families of both have been informed and the bodies will be sent for autopsy. Further measures will be taken.
