One dead, one injured in New London crash – NBC Boston

One person is dead and another is injured in a crash in New London, New Hampshire, early Sunday morning.

New London police said they responded to reports of an accident on Little Sunapee Road around 12:50 p.m

Authorities determined that a 2024 Hyundai Elantra left the road and struck a utility trailer before catching fire.

The driver, identified as 27-year-old Vincent Mendillo of Mission Viejo, California, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

One passenger died as a result of the accident. The passenger has yet to be identified.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
