The sheriff’s office is investigating a stabbing in Red Sands

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is asking the community for information regarding a stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning in Red Sands.

According to the sheriff’s office, the stabbing occurred around 3 a.m.

The victim was located at Red Sands, 15800 Montana Ave. El Paso, TX 79938 when a male perpetrator approached him and stabbed him in the chest.

The victim was taken to Providence Hospital North East Campus where he was stabilized. He was then taken to the Providence Memorial Campus, the sheriff’s office said.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone in the community with information to come forward.
