Tragic accident: Carpenter dies after falling from under-construction house in Thiruvananthapuram | Thiruvananthapuram News

Thiruvananthapuram: A 37-year-old man died after falling from the first floor of an under-construction house Nemom on Saturday evening. The deceased was identified by police as Saju Tfrom Edakandam Veedu in Mulloor near Vizhinjam, was a Carpenter by profession. He was repairing a window door when he slipped out of the first floor of the house belonging to one Mohanan of Chavinichivial Veedu in Estate Ward in Nemom.
The deceased suffered serious injuries to his head, neck and spine in the fall. He was initially admitted to a private hospital. After his condition became critical, he was rushed to the Medical College Hospital where he was pronounced brought dead.
Nemom police registered a case under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for unnatural death.
The body was cremated at his home after an autopsy at the Medical College Hospital. He is survived by his wife Soumya, 32, and two daughters, Souparnika, 5, and Sourabhya, 3.
